Welcome to the City of Miami General Employees’ and Sanitation Employees’ Retirement Trust. The plan is a single employer defined benefit pension plan covering all City of Miami General and Sanitation employees, except those eligible to opt out of participation in the plan.
These pages will let you know how to contact us; they will allow you to view the latest annual report, as well as other important information. In keeping with its goal of serving the members of this Plan, the board has established this site to provide information as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Verification of Receipt of Pension Benefit Payments form
Pensioners must submit Verification of Receipt of Pension Benefit Payments form before May 31st to avoid suspension of benefit.

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (“ACFR”) is the set of financial statements that comply with the accounting requirements established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

Florida Senate Bill 534 adopted in May 2013 requires pension plans to disclose information for publicly-funded retirement plans.
