Welcome to the City of Miami General Employees’ and Sanitation Employees’ Retirement Trust. The plan is a single employer defined benefit pension plan covering all City of Miami General and Sanitation employees, except those eligible to opt out of participation in the plan.

In keeping with its goal of serving the members of this Plan, the board has established this site to provide information as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Verification of Receipt of Pension Benefit Payments form
Suspension of payment will begin June 1st for those who did not return the Verification of Receipt of Pension Benefit Payments form by the deadline of May 31st.

JUNE 19, 2025 – JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY
Our office will be closed June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We will reopen June 20th.
JULY 4, 2025 – INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY
Our office will be closed July 4, 2025, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
